Hmmmm. I guess that's what happens when you have time on your hands.
Nevertheless, that kid has a creative, although warped, mind.
When I was growing up, there was always at least one bozo in the bunch that enjoyed doing stupid things like that on a fairly regular basis. But you gotta admit, that kind of doo-dah keeps the rest of us entertained. Where else can you get comedy relief for free?

There are stories about people living in far flung areas marrying cousins and that inbreading could cause problems. Is this a visual image of said inbreading ??
Like Mule packer says, there's always been a bozo or two that was willing to do really stupid things; nowadays there always seems to be a video camera or a smart phone around to record it. So the whole world can see how stupid you are, not just a few folks around the local community.

You know, I watch this little gif, and I know it's real. The guy really did this. At the same time, I wonder how someone...anyone...could be so flat out stupid. I mean, you don't even stand over a large firecracker when it goes off, even if it isn't stuck in something. You know?

Not only that, but unless he rigged the camera to record himself, there had to be someone else there to do it. There may have even been other people just watching. Friends?
