Why does the 30/06 have more than 6 grains of powder?
What happened to Preparations A through G?
We had a Cocker Spaniel when I was a kid that loved beer. My Dad always saved the last couple of swigs for him & he would drink them right up...I think he liked Jax the best...
I known this guy since the mid 1990's. He's a GREAT body man. We built cars together, went shootout together. And at one time had a body shop of his own and made tons of money, I mean tons of CASH. Mostly all under the table.
He'd come over to my house and do little stuff for me, like car door hinges, door handles, remove bumper covers and replace headlight assemblys ETC. And I always paid him. He'd call me and ask to use my shop at my house for a little side job like he did for me. Use my compressor but bring his own tools most of the time. No big deal. I NEVER charged him a dime.
So in the early 2000's, he went women crazy. Got divorced, lost his shop a new corvette etc. wasn't none of my business! He's a Real Good Looking Guy! And he had to go to a Dealership and run thier body shop. But I tried to help him out all I could, with small jobs and I have loaned him money from time to time and he always paid me back. So I started calling him Romeo! He couldn't leave the wild women alone. So up till about 3-4 years ago me and Romeo where tight. I knew more about his women than I cared to know.
But about 3-4 years ago, I'd call him and tell him I needed his help, a door hinge on a truck. Sure, I'll be there tomorrow. He'd never show. I'd get it fixed else where. No big deal. I'd call him again needing his help, again tell me exactly what time he'd be here. No show. So this went on for about 2 years. Always a excuse, my dogs got sick, the car wouldn't start, he had a flat tire ETC? So I stopped calling him and found someone else to do my work. I thought we were tighter than that. If he was to busy to help me, no big deal, if he just didn't want to help me, no big deal. I understand! JUST TELL ME!
So fast forward to today. A few minutes ago, I get a phone call from a Furniture Rental Company. Wanting to know how to get in touch with "Romeo"! The guy was very rude on the phone! I said I have NO clue! He got smarter! And said yes you do know, because he put you down as a reference? What? I said when did he give you my number, the rental guy said 3 months ago? He kept on telling me that I must give him Romeo's info or else! I cussed him out and told him if EVER called me again , I'd call the police and file harassment charges! He hung up.
It just ticks me off! That I was never asked if Romeo could put me down as reference! So I called his number. It's still in service, he wouldn't answer, so I left him a very un tasteful message! And told him it better NOT happen again. So 10 minutes later he texted me back and said he'd take care of it on Friday? I texted him back, that I could care less! I'd better NOT get another call! From anybody else! I know what kind of money he makes! And he still works for the same dealership. And when he started there as manager he was making $2,000 a week!! He just can't leave the women and night clubs alone! And I bet he gave the Rental Company all false info. Because why wouldn't they just go to the body shop? And they did have my address correct, I know good and well he knows my addressing!
I'm still fuming!

Believe it or not, one of my uncles had a Weimaraner who had a huge bowl of coffee and cream in the morning followed by a ... Wait for it... Cigarette.
Today, that uncle would be prosecuted.[emoji12]
