Coen Brothers- Hail Caesar
If you like the Coen Brothers, and I'm guessing there's a fan or two around here, you'll like their latest, "Hail, Caesar".
It's not their best, but I give it a solid 8, on a scale of one to ten.
The cast is great, with new actors (Ralph Feinnes) and old favorites (Frances McDormand)). The story is interesting, the acting is top-notch as always, and the characters are as quirky as ever. And it has that Coen-esque visual appeal!
This movie let them show several old movie styles, like those old swim movies, and singing cowboy westerns.
This movie never made it to the big-screen, at least in these parts. I was disappointed. I try to see all their work as it was meant to be seen, before I watch it at home.
Anyway, thumbs up- recommended!

Well it's down to 100 degrees at 10:40 tonight from 125 earlier in the day. The weatherman/woman/person said it would be cooler than yesterday but they were wrong as usual. But, hey, that's what living in the desert is all about.
