My nephew works for a veterinary drug company, and he gave me a 30 oz. mug that the company gave him. The mug is awesome. It will keep ice from melting for at least a day, usually more, and it does not sweat.
I bought several of them to give as Christmas presents.

He even has two of their huge ice chests which the company gave him, and he had them at our fishing camp this past September. We were there for 4 days and the chests kept the ice from melting for a day or two also, so we didn't have to replenish the ice as often as you would have to with conventional ice chests. They are expensive though.

We have two of the 32(?)oz mugs and they are great! Like yours they will easily keep ice for 24 hours. I've never tried hot beverages but I'm sure it would go about as long. We use ours for water on road trips etc. no never any problems. I like that you can replace lids, add handles etc. Expensive relatively speaking but worth it in our experience.

I haven't been able to bring myself to buy a Yeti brand cup yet. I did buy a 30 ounce Ozark Trail cup at walmart and it's been great. Works as well as the Yeti my boss has. At $10 each I can buy lots for stocking stuffers.
I may buy one of The YETI brand soon just to have my own to test out.

Yeti is high quality no doubt, but extremely overpriced in my opinion. Walmart sells a nearly identical 30 Oz mug with a mossy oak label for $12.88. Also, check out igloo sportsman extreme coolers. 95% of a yeti in performance at less than half the $.
I have both and they work great. Spent the savings on guns, powder, and high quality Tennessee sour mash

I have learned that I need to cut back on the ice in the cup since it melts so slowly! My usual recipe for iced tea starts out, "fill the glass with ice."

In my Yeti, that yields me about five swallows, then a cup full of ice till I can get back to the pitcher.

I have the big Yeti mug and the Wal mart version. They both insulate and hold ice about the same IMO however the lid seal on the Wal Mart is not as durable or good as the Yeti. Worth buying though. I have also tried a brand called RTIC. Again IMO every bit as good as Yeti at half the price. Cannot tell any difference in the cups or the coolers.

I have one of the Yeti mugs that was given to me as a gift, great mug. I bought a large RTIC cooler, great product, like a Yeti for half the cost.

I have a couple of Yeti coolers and have been very pleased. They are expensive but worth it to me. I had the zipper break on one, emailed them a picture of it, got a call within 15 minutes with an authorization to send it back.

Received replacement in one week, now that's customer service. ;)

Got a 10oz Rambler and 20oz Tumbler during the holidays last year. I initially sneered at the notion of a $20-$30 cup. I mean... c'mon . But after some time I got past the sneer and poured some coffee in them. I was surprised how long they kept coffee hot.

Don't know about the the monkey-see monkey-do Walmart specials. They might perform as well for less money...? I think I'll keep using the Yeti.

On a side note... I grown to like the German knives and French pans I initially sneered at. Geeesh... in my old age I'm getting less grumpy about this stuff?

the wife has the large and small Yeti tumblers and even on hot days they work great for holding ice. When she's brought one home from a day at the office and left it on the counter, ice is still in there the following am.
I do have family members who have used the Ozark versions at WM and for holding temps/ice they seem to do the trick. They too have commented on the lid comparisons to Yeti's, so guess like anything else there are options just depends on what one wants to pay

We received two Yeti 32 oz tumblers as gifts last year. Very impressive. It's about the only thing my wife will drink water out of.

The local LGS has a similar product from Nine Line for less and IMHO stands for more.

I've got a Yeti beer can holder and used to have a Yeti 20 oz. tumbler. The can holder is superb, with the only drawback being that they're heavy, so it's hard to tell when your beer is running low. The 20 oz was also superb, until it mysteriously disappeared during a road trip. Somebody has been accused of tossing it while cleaning out the vehicle, but the world may never know. In any event, I replaced it with the Wal-Mart Ozark trail, and I can't tell a difference in performance. The beer can holders at Wal-Mart are always sold out, but I'm going to buy one the minute I see one for a backup. I've heard that the Rtic brand is also as good as Yeti, more expensive than Ozark Trail and cheaper than Yeti.

I have a Yeti coffee mug and it does work well but rarely use it. By the time I leave the house I have usually had my fill of coffee - (big morning coffee drinker). Anymore in the car and I'd be stopping every half hour!

When going out to the Range for the day, instead of the Yeti coffee mug I use a vintage Stanley Thermos that I have in 1QT, 2QT and wide mouth Soup sized versions. The Yeti's are great - just don't have much need for the coffee mug - personally.

Yeti coolers work very well. Some complain they are overpriced but to those folks, everything is overpriced. It's hard to put a price on the convenience of having ice last a long time when you're in a situation where ice is not readily available.

Sort of like having four-wheel drive and seldom using it. When it's really needed in a desolate location, it's well worth whatever extra it cost.

One drawback to a Yeti is loaded weight. They're heavy enough empty. When my Yeti 45 (and that's not a big one) is full, I need help to move it.

Biggest downside to a Yeti cooler left in a boat or truck bed....they seldom remain there unattended for very long.
Retailers are starting to 'tether' the soft Yeti coolers and not putting any of the hard coolers too near an entrance or exit. Pretty sad, huh?

Got a mug, can't afford the coolers. Not going to spend the $$$ for something that easy to turn up missing.

Used one at a friend's camp this summer.......

went to get two on Amazon...... first ones were 'knockoffs" ...... I returned them and found:

ColdKeeper Products; Double Insulated Cooler Can.......
$14.95 on Amazon....... w/ a 91% 5 star rating ...6% 4 stars..........

Work as good as the Yeti at half the price.....:D

Edit: My wife's "Keurig" Travel coffee mug will hold ice all day (morning to evening).

I just went to Walmart to look and couldn't resist and I bought two of the Ozark Trail 20oz mugs, they appear to me of equal material, quality, design and construction as the yeti in ever way, which I had also checked out. The 30 ouncers are are $9.74 and the 20 ouncers are $7.74 and they had a pallet full of them getting ready for Black Friday.
