No sale of Sharpies to anyone under 18

But not the only reason.

Huffers do sniff Sharpie ink to get high. The ink contains alcohol and ethylene glycol monobutyl ether.

Now, I have no idea how much Sharpie ink would need to be sniffed, or how many Sharpies would be needed.

Fact: People looking for a high will try anything.

The buzz is very short lived so the user employs 'rinse and repeat'. . It also causes discoloration of the nostrils.

I would check the Law,The good People at Walmart told Me that I had to have passed a Hunters course to purchase a Range Ticket which is totally wrong.

I went to wally world to get a spray can of compressed air and I had to get somebody to unlock the cabinet it was in. supposedly that was keep the kids from buying it for inhaling purposes.

Law was passed by a cadre of Texas of country music enthusiasts who do not like Simon and Garfunkel

The compressed air at WalMart wasn't locked away but I did have to get "age verified" to buy it the other day. Compressed Air! Morons.

illegal display of your S&W's?

I don't believe that you guys are putting any real serious thought into your replies and opinions.

I for one do not want to run afoul of those local, State and Fed regulations, especially when using something as dangerous as a Sharpie.

Therefore I have to now restage, and reshoot (no pun here) all photos of my Smiths and Colts that are using the offending Sharpie. I only had 1 legal shot using a Sharpie and that was my Model 637-2 being propped up with a Sharpie but it also had lock, so with that you get an automatic override to the "anti-Sharpie" movement.

Photos below: The model 29.....clearly illegal as young grandchildren visit my house regularly and there is that darn Sharpie sitting unlocked in my gun room (aka unused bedroom). Hope the Staties and Feds don't see the X-Acto "sharpie" being used on the Woodsman...they'll be next!

Even the 10-5 may be in jeopardy due to me not having the original docs as to where I purchased that trademark prop rod therefore copyright infringement on me for sure.

What grand stupidity!

High capacity assault Sharpies!

I just don't think there's a law governing the possession of Sharpies in Florida, at least at the State level. I suppose there could be a Local Ordinance in some Florida city or county but ....

If there is, I'd appreciate anyone's directing me to the statute.

I was helping my kid sand and repaint his truck bumper. We ran out of paint, so I sent him to the store for another can. He had to get the guy behind him in line to buy it. I trust him more with a can of paint than driving a vehicle.

Anything flammable for purchase you must be 18 or older. Im getting tired of faking a damned birthdate when its evident when a person is over age-and all it does is back up the line. It also pisses off most customers who are in a hurry.

Compressed air is also on the age thing at H.D, as they dont want druggies to clean out what brains they may have left-after all the substance abuse from many years of substance abuse use.
