Hey all need some advise on what board members would have done.I am haveing the should have would have thing playing out in head. Last night about an hour before dark.I am putting my lawn spreader and other things back in my front shed. From the days work.Got my newer rescued German Shepard dog out in yard with me. she's my shadow lol.So as I am loadind shed I see white Ford pick up truck going down road I have seen this truck hundreds of times so I glance up. This truck use to spend a lot of time at our next door neighbors. Those Neighbors where evited by Sherrifs office two weeks ago. ( condemend property) This is very rural aera with dirt roads. He stops right front of Shed jumps out
Of his truck in very aggressive manner screaming I better stop stareing at Him!!. I was taken back a bit and told him back .I am not stareing at you and please go on down the road. The shed is about 50 feet before road and chain link fence is set back to road. He stayed in road ranting. I stayed a shed double doors. He got back in truck and moved not less than a foot .Got back out started same rant again. My reply was get back in your truck and keep moveing. He then left.Ok here is where I am beating my self up. Should I have just never said anything or did I do ok ? Thoughts.

You're not in jail - you did good! I would report it to (there, I guess, the Sheriff's Office?) the authorities and let it be. He didn't step onto your property, as far as I can read, so it's just something that LE needs to know about. Hopefully, they'll keep an eye on him. And, yes, not saying anything to provoke him was IMO the best course of action.

Classic meth-head paranoia. I would not have said a word, but would have a gun ready and would have called Sheriff immediately.
Wow now you got my head really spining lol. I think your spot on because this county is know for very heavy meth . I never been abel to wrap my head around that one either. This truck use to make 4 to
Six runs to this house a day sometimes more. Stay for a while or leave right away. Mosly in out. I noticed this because 80 % of day hours I am either doing something on outside ( do list ). And it keeps me very busy. I haven't seen this guy in white truck until last night in last two weeks. The county has it posted that no one can be on property other than to gather their stuff. And no one there at night.

Strong drug stench here, if he shows again, just get his plate number and report it to your law enforcement. Maybe your local law enforcement should check that now vacant house for evidence of prior drug activity. Anyway you did the right thing not to provoke anything.

If I were you I would call the Sheriff's office on Monday (talk to the secretary, not dispatch) and go in and see him/her. You probably have a drug task force that your county is a part of and they may be able to help you too. I have found that county sheriffs are generally very helpful and responsive to community needs like this.

I would bet the white truck guy is alreday on their radar screen and if not, they will appreciate your info because, especially in a rural area, they can't patrol everywhere all the time and they have to rely on the eyes and ears of the good, decent people in the county like you.

Thanks good advice S O has been out to that property many times they all now it well. I am told that only option county wise is to level it. It's a huge shame that these folks let it get that bad. I do belive that they are very well versed on the activity that went on there for many years well before we bought ours.

Is this the same house that you posted about before where the occupants blocked the road etc., and somewhat provoked you? Your concern then was 'what to do about them'. Seems the problem may be resolving itself and you are dealing with the residuals. Neighbors and folks on the street and in the area seem to be a thorn in your side. Now that (it seems) the property is condemned, perhaps it is a good time to buy it, and you can control who your neighbors are in the future. If the house needs torn down, you should be able to get a great deal on the property. There are possibly ways to get rid of the structure very inexpensively, especially if it is wood frame stick construction.

Yes J H 51 its same home. Until the county evited them two weeks ago I didn't know . We just found out it was condemend in 2009. Seems county dropped ball. They have 69k in fines and leins. The property is not worth any thing and is a small lot. .32 . No way would I want it. I am putting up an 8 foot wooden fence on that side and calling it a day. County wouldn't let me put it up on 8 prior

Call 911 and report MWAG and give them his description; see what happens; personally, I am more aggressive and would have told a few things about his ancestry and parental lineage - but that is just ME and where I live in Florida, they tend to move on down the road - especially when telling them the cops have been called.
