Thinking of a garage

I've not built my own garage with my own two hands, however I did have a 3 Car garage built 23 years ago when we built our home (it's attached). I will let you know the mistakes I made so you can avoid them if it's affordable.

1) I'd install a floor drain with a Dry-well so car detailing and work can be done indoors.

2) I'd install a "Pit" or lift.

3) I'd install a slop sink with hot & cold running water.

4) I'd use LED lighting.

I DO have heat and A/C, hot & cold water but no slop sink. At this point the floor drain and work pit are too late - just didn't think of it at the time. :(
Ya know I just had a thought I could probably even put a half bathroom in there as long as I put it in on the east side of the building the sewer line would only have to go about 15 to 20 feet. Lift wise I could definitely build it taller for a scissor lift, I wonder if I could run drainage straight to the sewer too and just kind of run the bathroom that I said earlier and the drainage inline together

Neighbor built one a bit larger than that for 150K. He has 4 bays all with std. vehicle doors so it must be around 50'x40'. The small entry door is in the side of the building. If you don't plumb it you can save a lot of money.

Lumber around here is cheap as we are very close to British Columbia.

I had a thicker floor too for my one ton truck.

Price fresh cut lumber from thevsaw mill?

That would depend on if local code allows combined lines or not. Here in Ohio, everything is moving towards separate storm and sewer drains. A floor drain would fall into the storm side of things.
