I've never been big into guns until recently while going thru a large private collection.

I've had the opportunity to hold about 30-40 different handguns over the last few months with lots more to go thru.

They have been of several different manufactures and from .22s to a 500 S&W Magnum which I'm looking forward to shooting and lots of others in-between.

So far the one that "fits" the best is this Colt 1911.

I have more to go so maybe I'll find another one that seems to fit perfect too.

What fits you perfect to you??

There are a few that fit my hand well. I like K-frame targets. I like the Model 39. I like the 1911. I like Hogue wood for just about any revolver. But for me, the best fitting and feeling is by far the BHP.

I was really surprised for some reason the first time I held that Colt.

Its never been fired and I don't think I'll ever fire it either so now I'm looking for another one to shoot.

I like the feel of my S&W 28-2 also.

For revolvers, I'd probably say a K-frame round-butt with PGS Hideout non-grooved, non-textured grips.

For semi-autos, while I have neither owned nor fired one, the Sig P239 seemed to fit my hand best.

I have 2 that fit perfectly.
S&W model 60 357 rubber factory stock.
KAHR CW45 stock grip.
Both have heavy recoil but one hand still has 100% control.
I do use 2 hands with stance as trained many years back in the Academy.
Both handguns have an outstanding recoil.
Not for girly girls.
