640-1: the first .357 that I ever bought
28-2: given to me by my brother
686-6: limited edition, less than 400 produced
686: my favorite so far - factory modifications, Patridge front site and a Millet rear sight

I'm going to add at least two more soon.

Nice guns! I don't know that I'd call that tiny. Not counting folks with one of each and every I would wager that lots of us don't have huge collections of .357 Magnum revolvers. I think I have six; no, I have seven, I just counted them via my S&W revolver album here on the Forum. Heck, I think I'll set up a survey and we shall see! :D

And I just recalled that I didn't count my Rugers so that's nine. Yup, we need a survey. ;)

Note to Lou the Welder - your PM mailbox is full so you cannot receive PMs from anyone until you clear it out. At least some.

And it is Tap-A-Talk that causes your problem. A browser in your phone-tablet works like a computer. The Tap-a-Talk application limits what you see.

Never heard of Whipple. Is it the entire assembly, or just the rear blade?

Can you show a close up picture?

Thank you again. Too much radiation to the brain.

Its a Millet rear site and you're the one who told me that.

IMHO, that is a collection most people would be proud of. The .357 doesn't get a lot of press these days. That's a pity because many think of it as one the most versatile cartridges ever. Ever think about getting a .357 carbine to match? They work great on deer at 100 yards and under.

Well, ya got me beat by 3, lol, I own one.

Nice collection you have there.

Nice group of 357's. I have several myself, fun to shoot and very versatile.

That top 686 is clearly defective. They shorted you an inch of barrel and 1/2 of the underlug.

Better let me take it off your hands.

You absolutely need to add a vintage Model 19 "Combat Magnum" with a 4 or 6 inch barrel to your 357 Magnum collection. ;-) Reason: because the Model 19 is finest revolver ever built.

Thanks for considering to my suggestion and looking at my "Combat Magnum."

I'm just feel pretty darn lucky to have the ones I do.

The 640-1 was the first gun I bought to carry, replaced it with a 642-1 airweight that was my brothers back-up before he retired from LE.

At one time or another all of these belonged to my brother. The only gun I've ever purchased from anyone or anywhere else is my Glock m36 .45.

Up until about a year ago I only owned 4 handguns, two of which are in the picture.

Not sure why they're my favorite handgun but they are. I will end up with a couple more.

Being defective it might be unsafe to fire.

I had better hang on to it so no one gets injured. ;)

I've held a few m19s recently. I will go back and look at them again.

I probably do need one. :D

I was looking for a collection of tiny 357s... a lot of J-frames, etc. I'd call yours a Substantial 357 Collection. Looking good!
