Which is your FAVORITE S&W revolver?

Has to be my model 10 HB, don't remember the dash number. Picked it up after I retired and moved down here in Louisiana. Had to go back to NYC for a hearing and had called a dealer from whom I bought many firearms years back. Asked if he had any HB model 10's and he starts laughing. Told me he had a rather large cardboard box full. Picked up a copy of my dealers FFL down here and went to his store and was shown the box. Take your pick $100. Found a nice one paid him the $100, shipping and gave him the FFL. Made it here before I did. 20 some odd years ago and still shoot it every now and then. Frank

A model 10-10 and 10-14 are my only S&W revolvers. The model 10-10 NY DC trade in is my favorite of the two. I like my Rugers but there's something special about these model 10s.

Which S&W is your favorite?

"Of all the S&W revolvers that you own...or want to own
...which one is your very best favorite?"

I like all my S&W's, don't really have a Favorite.

All my Guns were heavily thought about and
purchased carefully. None were a "knee jerk
reaction" to buy.

Sorry, you probably wanted a more definitive
answer, but I like all mine.

There can only be one Choice! I willingly accept S&W's own "choice", as my own. They chose the Mod. 27, as their "Top Of The Line" firearm. They offered the most embellishments, the most options, such as barrel lengths, grips, etc. They then topped it off with their their finest finish, to make it the finest firearm, that they ever offered, before or since. Now, I'd like to offer my own 2¢ opinion, and rate the Mod. 27 as the finest revolver ever made by anyone! Her is a picture of my absolute favorite, a Mod. 27, with a 3.5" bbl. Thanks for sharing.

I know the 27 is a top tier firearm, but N frames just don't feel right to me. I just bought an extremely nice 28-2 for a good price, just because I figured I should get an N Frame. But it doesn't feel right to me like the K frame or L frames do.

My favorite S&W is my .38/44 Outdoorsman. Built in 1951 and it's the 6.5" target version in .38 Special.

That's a factory parts dept. spare barrel and cylinder. No idea why the owner ordered them as spares? There's nothing wrong with the originals on the gun.

My favourite (how we spell it) at the moment would have to be this 686-1 I picked up earlier in the year. I plan on using it later in the month to shot our 25 yard Service Match (a form of PPC) Club Championship. Sighted her in the other day on the barricades standing. (Photograph taken by my dealer).
