Never owned a DS but would like to get an early version. Closest I have are these two Agents.

A 1949 DS to get me in the door, and 1980-something Agent to keep it company.

This is my 1958 DS. I usually carry this one in a Simply Rugged belt holster.

And, since I missed the original thread on S&W M10 snubs, here's the same DS with its slightly larger cousin.

This one spent most of it's life in an Ohio State Trooper's ankle holster. It dates to 1964.

Sorry, I forgot to mention Cobras, my bad. That's nice! I'd like to get a 3rd issue DS or 2nd issue Cobra and put the old style panels grips on it. I've seen pictures of some and it looks sexy. I have a picture saved from the internet, I'll try and find and post it.

Oh man, now you're playin with my heart! Two of my favorite guns ever! Those are both beautiful! That Model 10 is amazing. I'd have to pick the 10 over the DS but man it's a very close race. Wow. Be proud (not that you aren't already are)! Nice, so very nice!

Nice! I really love the 1st issue DS! I love the short ejector rod and half moon sight. I still really like 2nd issue ones, but I really want a 1st. I saw a nice blued one for sale a while back that was 2nd issue based on its front sight and has a short ER and it was in mint mint condition and not a bad price either. Too bad I had to miss it! Very nice!

Nice! Not only a super co gun, but it has a cool history to it too. That's cool. I love those older ones so much!

That's nice! I like that you kept the older style grips on them and I really like the one with the checkered grips. That looks good. I've been trying to find a picture of that style agent with those grips. Looks very nice!

It bit me the first time I shot it....
Still have the original wood grips.

This one is from around 1961. Coltwood grips shown are not original, but I later traded them even for a minty pair of correct checkered wood grips.
