Hey everyone, I have a set of CrimsonTrace grips on my first edition M&P 9 and I
m wondering if any of you have stippled these grips. Kind of worried about affecting the electronics inside. Any advice oh owners of great guns?

I skate tape the outward side. Sand over a bit to reduce bite. You can take off if you hate it. A roll costs $5.

Personally I wouldn't stipple it I put a set of Talons on my shield and they are just fine. Pre cut easy to apply and cost 17 bucks.

I find that a piece of bicycle inner tube works great for additional gripping feel without having to make any permanent changes. Might want to give it a try.

Stipple a polymer receiver?
I would not stipple a polymer receiver. To improve gripping, either a slip on rubber grip or apply skateboard tape.

I'd go with the not-to-stipple. Too many other options out there that don't hurt/ruin the value of the firearm.
