Most of my life I have stuck with Folgers (Columbian) but I have to admit that when I lived in Colorado and Idaho I was a big fan of MJB (only enough for the West it said on the label).

For everyday drinking we either drink Community dark roast or the Folgers black silk coffee. For special treat days, we drink Kona bean coffee, either regular beans dark roasted or Peaberry beans roasted med dark. We order straight from the Big Island, from a company called "Kona Coffee" from their website, Kona Coffee - 100% Pure Hawaiian Kona Coffee direct from Kona, Hawaii . Kona is expensive but is so smooth and flavorful without any bitterness. We buy the beans whole and grind them as needed to brew our special treats, generally in a French Press.
Retired construction worker here and many of my coffee was purchased off a maggot wagon. (food coach to some of you)
My tastes are simple, I like a strong cup of black coffee.
Same at home black no dilution allowed! At home I normally drink 2 cups. Never drink coffee late in the day.
As far as tea goes no way, just never could develop a taste for it
If no coffee I would prefer soda or nothing at al.

I like fresh ground beans in a French press. I have a roaster, but it's really hard to beat Dunkin beans......

I miss the coffee we brewed in the fire house. We mostly used Folgers. . We also had 2 or 3 gallons of sweet tea in a pot . I finally realized I couldn't abide tea any longer. Gave me reflux. Darned near killed me..literally. Now days I just use a Keurig with donut shop coffee. But usually one mug a day.
That cup will keep it hot a LONG time. My mom used to have those, and the coffee would stay hot for hours.

I went to High School next to the Nestle's plant in Sunbury, Ohio. Twice a day a black fog of stink would fall on the school! Also the water from decatenating was sprinkled on a field by the Middle School a few times a week, it reeked too! It is surprising anyone in that town ever drank another cup of coffee, but I think it somehow made us all addicted!

I like a good dark roast bean. Some of my favorites are from Lakota Coffee in Columbia MO. We came across their shop while at a swim meet at MIZZOU several years ago.
I order fresh roasted beans from them online, grind as needed in a burr grinder and the use a Chemex pour-through to make coffee.

Coffee= Tim Horton's (the grocery store bought brew-it-at-home stuff)
Tea= Lapsang Souchong (tea dried/smoked over pinewood fires)

I think both Lapsang Souchong and Earl Grey are...acquired tastes! But each to his own.

Tea: Iced Pure Leaf Unsweetened or Green. Hot tea: green tea.
Coffee: Ravensbrew (from Alaska), especially Deadman's Reach (High caffeine but not bitter==beans we ground each morning). Recently, I tried the "cat poop" coffee I got on Amazon==rather weak.

Just plain ol Liptons for Me. Coffee makes My heart skip beats. Haven't drank coffee since 1986 when it started.

I only drink Community Coffee, and use their tea bags for iced tea. The dark and between roasts are great, but I prefer coffee with chicory. Paired with an unfiltered Camel, it is one of the best of life's simple pleasures.
For me the, the key to good coffee is how it is made. I grew up using a drip pot. Put the pot in a pie pan on the stove to keep it warm, and pour the water slowly into the drip pot. The slow drip and metal filter makes for a very strong cup of coffee, and allows some of the grains to settle in the pot.

My preference for coffee - Death Wish Coffee. 2.5-3 teaspoons for a big mug w/ about a tablespoon of raw honey and some Splenda and milk. Fine! Fine! Really fine! In a few minutes I will start my second mug. Really excellent coffee!
My preference for tea - Tetley tea bags. Steeped about five minutes or so then poured up w/ a 1/3 cup of Splenda and a 2 qt. pack of Crystal Light Lemonade mix and enough water to fill the pitcher up to the top. Serve over a big Yeti of ice! Wonderful!
