Your 4" N frames

Kenny-I'm late to the thread. Just got back from a little time in Europe. So here are some others. Most have been posted before.

Nice grouping. :)

I really should look for a 1954 4" Highway Patrolman. It would make a nice birth year gun.

Here are my 29-2's. Two of them are 4".

I just acquired this one yesterday. Wrong stocks which I'll rectify. Allegedly a duty weapon for a local Highway Patrolman which I'm trying to verify. In any event it helped his widow and is my birthday/Christmas present to myself. Heavy Duty 38/44 S109203.

All my N frames are .357s except for one M29-2.

Not much of a variety here. ;)

Your 4" N frames

Has anybody ever had two 4" N-Frames with barrels that were slightly different in length?

I've got a few 4" N-frames but sadly only one pinned barrel. I should work on correcting that...

28-2 Highway Patrolman, 25-9 .45 Colt, 625-8 JM, 625-8PC.

Oops! Forgot about the 24-3!

I currently have 3 "N" frame revolvers, only one of them is a 4", and it has been posted here before. But I like this 25-5 a lot and I'm proud to show it off again. I really want a 4" model 27, but would settle for a nice 4" 28.

I even bought a beautiful 4" barrel (here on the forum) for my 6" 28 ND, but haven't worked up the nerve to swap it out. So here's the 25-5 45 Colt.

29-2 4"

Here are two of my N frame 44 mags. The traditional blued 4" 29-2 and its companion a 5" stainless steel beauty. The 4" is a low mileage stock 44, the stainless has been to the beauty shop. 629-2 MagnaPorted, FO front post, cylinder cut for moonclips, ball detent front lock, hand polished and cylinder has black powder camfer. The S&W stocks were modified and refinished. The polish, camfer and stocks were done by me.
