The morning news carried something about "Chaz", a police and common sense free zone in Seattle. Store owners ae reporting that "protesters" are demanding payment from them for protection, I guess. The mayor of Seattle apparently cannot distinguish between legitimate protest and looting/vandalism, believing all are 1st Amendment protected. These people underestimate the current occupant of the White House.

11 p.m. Seattle time.

Lots of young people walking
about, graffiti at a lot of places.

Restaurants open. Glass at stores
intact.

Dozens of people walking their dogs.

Street entertainment.

Reports most people, as it gets very late,
just go home elsewhere in the city.

Numerous parked cars near entrances and
within. No damage to them.

No guards at the so-called barriers. No ID
checks.

And no guns to be seen.

Don't forget the gas, electric and water. But pretty wishful thinking as there as there are likely innocents living in the area. Maybe drop leaflets and give opportunity for those that want to go, leave before everything gets turned off.
