They....(antifa I guess) is gearing up for a take over of the state house
grounds in Nashville TN this weekend, (autonomous zone) starting 5:00 CST today.

Governor Bill Lee says, no unlawfulness will be tolerated.

Just wonder what the THP has in store for em ?

It just dawned on me. The alt. left has just created their own independent country which is simply fine. Now let them apply to the United Nations to recognize their new country.
Now until the UN recognizes this new country, may I suggest that the United States of America refuse to recognize the government of this new country. Which means we will not allow trade of any sort or aid with this new country, to include any human rights aide of any sort of aid to prevent human suffering. This is to include all access to any American based electronic based Internet or phone service and place an embargo on all goods to be shipped into the new country until proper trade agreements/treaties have been approved. Finally, we should build an effective barrier to prevent illegal ingress or egress from this new country.

I figure after a week of now Internet/phone service or iced coffee drinks thing will slow down some:cool:

The problem with UN recognition thing is the chicom's and the ruskies would love to recognize downtown Seattle as an independent country so they could provide foreign aid and on-site military advisors.

So I am not allowed to peacefully question the imposition of a government policy that some may agree with, but when I point out legitimate lawful remedies to anarchy and sedition I am a hypocrite?

Someone's world may have tilted on its axis, but mine remains firmly anchored on the axis of the United States Constitution and a responsibility of government (local, state, and federal) to safeguard lives and property against criminal attacks.

If the Seattle municipal government will not perform its lawful obligations, and the Washington State government will not perform its lawful obligations, it is time for the federal government to put a stop to this nonsense.
 
A few hours ago I saw a clip about the CHAZ on Fox. Seems that none of the merchants still operating there (apparently there are some) will speak with reporters because they are afraid of reprisals.

Of course, why would you speak up when these "peace loving protestors" are laying in wait to commit mayhem, and you know the police have been neutered?
 
I think any attempt to forcefully retake the area will be a disaster for everyone and result in more unrest.
I support the "cut'em off" strategy. Turn off all power, gas and water. Kill cell and WIFI. Close off the area. Nobody and no supplies get in. One open exit point. Anybody can be allowed to leave. However, they should be checked. People who had legitimate business in the area, live or work there are free to go. No doubt there are innocent people trapped in there. These people should also be offered whatever help they may need until the situation is resolved.
Anyone who can't explain being in there should be detained and questioned. If its found that they are protesters, they should be arrested.
Its a non-violent solution and in time all the protesters will have no choice but to surrender or starve.

Waco and Ruby Ridge, are examples of what not to do. I am sure the situation is starting out like Height Ashbury, but take a look at how that broke down over time. The free society sounds good on paper, but it just doesn't work. Why, because it involves people. The summer of love started out great, then every social problem they had solved emerged right there in paradise. Overcrowding, drug dependency, violence, survival of the fittest/Lord of The Flies stuff just started happening. Next thing you know all the middle class college kids went home and those that had no safety net ran amuck.

I rather suspect Fox couldn't find anyone to confirm any of the horror stories that their viewers want to hear.

Here's a more realistic look at the situation, local news from today. Some SPD has actually been back in the East Precinct, and while the situation is obviously tricky, none of the alarmist rumors, including some police themselves referred to in the last few days, have been confirmed.

Warning: No armed Antifa terrorists, homicidal rapper warlords, or burning barricades.
