Agreed. Bipod folded to the front so the legs don't collapse on you during the recoil pulse and so you can put some pressure on the legs/feet for a more accurate shot.

Don't think the recoil pulse will ever be a problem on the 15-22 though.

Well, you do have a point on the recoil but the pressure on the legs for more accuracy portion still stands.

Not to mention that when in the prone position and you push the rifle forward, regardless of caliber, the legs can fold up and you end up with your muzzle (and face) in the dirt.

My MP Sport II

Here is my MP15 Sport II. I've had it about a month. I'm not done playing with add-on's or switching out stuff. Also have a Dickinson 12 Gauge Tactical shotgun.

Has anyone ever seen a flashlight forestock handle for a M&P 15 Sport II? I’ve seen them on higher priced units. I’m not sure sure if you can put one on the M&P 15. Thanks

Okay my first post, This is my build:
M&P 15 Sport 2 (My first AR)

These are my upgrades.
Furniture:
Magpul MOE SL HandGuard (Carbine Length)
Magpul MOE+ Over Molded Pistol Grip
Magpul MOE SL-K Stock

Optics:
Riton Optics X1 Tactix RRD
Riton Optics X1 Tactix MAG3

Swapped out my Regular Magpul handguard for the SL and swapped the black vertical grip for an FDE one. The SL handguard allowed me to move the vertical grip farther forward which is exactly what I wanted.

So here is the progression of my Sport II.
