I turned on the TV this morning (I know, first mistake).

I got to thinking that if we as Americans stopped watching the news maybe they would stop reporting BS. Silly me.

Here's my plan, Contact every advertiser and inform them that I and lots of people would quit using their products and services. I would also go as far as informing small business and big corporate in plain language that their policies are stupid and the people that listen to them more than likely don't buy their products or services.

Hopefully we can collectively dry up the well and make the appeasement crowd see the error in their ways.

I've started a list

I disagree, that's the tactic of the far left, and it is not right. Most of the time the business being targeted is innocent of anything but trying to sell their wares.

I will not punish someone or their business because of "my" beliefs.

So how do we as the silent minority voice our concerns and needs?

I don't believe were the minority.

The news makes it seem like the whole town is on fire by only showing the areas of unrest.
I live near the Mississippi River and when it goes out of its banks the news shows it like the whole State is devastated when it's only a smaller area around the river.

Not sure about the figures but think I read where normally only 40% or less of people vote in local elections. When things get bad enough more will take an interest in the elections.

I can respect that opinion but they need to know that they're the ones that are wrong. I would never advertise my goods on a news cast that pushed an agenda such as the latest BS.

The news should not be biased. That's what commentators on CNN and FOX are for, Those that can't or won't think for themselves.

"In a democracy, the people get the government they deserve," French diplomat and historian Alexis de Tocqueville wrote. He was a student of America's young democracy and traveled the country in the 1830s to learn how and if it could work. Based on the current state of our politics in United States it appears citizens are failing at their end of the bargain.

I read Lori Lightfoot won in Chicago with a 32% voter turnout.
What I am seeing today looks like the 1960s, there was quite a backlash then.
Companies that are anti-2A and RKBA get none of my dollars.

That means only about 17% of voters wanted her.

Stop being silent. That's where we're getting beat.

As you can see in another thread. They aren't the majority. They are the Squeaky Wheel and make the most noise. This needs to change on so many levels.

There's the apathetic middle people who just follow whatever seductive voice they hear, and they've only been hearing the voices of one side for years. Those who control which voices get heard need to change. That's not under control of the ballot box. If "we" could somehow get our voices heard by the passive consumers of mass media, we might have a chance. Reminds me of Horton Hears a Who.
