This extraordinary piece of art was completed by Master Engraver Russell J. Smith.

Russell J. Smith's name is engraved under the left stock panel.

I've never seen the small logo placed in that position before. He must have hand engraved it there. Did you get get a factory letter ? Is it a factory engraved piece? Yes, it is a four screw.

Serial Number on this one is S 169241

Bill, the logo was hand engraved in that location.
Tommy Freyburger also utilized that space to hand engrave the logo on one of my guns.

This gun was commisioned to be engraved at the factory. Russell J. Smith was on staff at the time and did the 'Class A' engraving on this piece.
