Down at the Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge, It’s not unusual to see Bald Eagles.
They are usually perched in dead or dormant trees.
This Scruffy looking guy was on the ground and I didn’t see him actually doing anything.

I saw a black coyote once, out in a field. He was in the same place the next day too. A decoy, to keep geese out of the field. Funny.
