What's on your night stand?

Lamp, TV & fan remote controls and usually a book. (currently Texas Rangers/Frank Hamer).

Inside the nightstand is an FNX40 with a Streamlight TLR-1 HL on the rail, with a spare mag. Also a S&W 351 PD and a headlamp, for random trips outside with Captain the wonder dog.

Just last night I had to chase off a possum, to keep hoochy pooch from a butt whipping (and probably bites and scratches). He's used to bunny rabbits outrunning him, but he would unfortunately catch up to a possum.

Why.... a Knight of course! ;)

S&W 325 Thunder Ranch with viridian laser in each room of the house hidden inside a hidden safe built into the wall. Behind the door of the bedroom is a Benelli M4, on the nightstand is a Safari Arms Matchmaster and leaning against the wall is an Aero .223 wylde AR pistil with 8" bbl and viridian laser loaded with 5.56 fragmentation loads in an e-lander 40 round magazine. When I had the house designed I had wall safes emplaced in each room of the house, wasn't quite sure what I would put in to fill it, but decided it would be a revolver as you can load it and forget it basically for years on end and never worry about it not going bang bang. Got a deal with a dealer and took 10 Thunder Ranch with rail under bbl in exchange for a few Pythons I'd picked up when I had my FFL, purchased the viridian green laser and voila, match made in heaven. I will add, now that I have the Shield 2.0 with safety in 9mm, I've taken to carrying that around on me in the house and yard. it's so light I can't feel it, but having shot the 1911 now for over 50 years, I feel most comfy waking up to a 1911 as muscle memory never fails you.

I bought this Sig 365 initially to use it as a carry weapon. Although I shot it well enough I felt more comfortable using my Shield 9 as my daily carry. Fortunately, I did find out that my wife handled the Sig very well also so it has became our night bed stand gun. I'm out of town overnight frequently so it made more sense for both of us.

Not including the lamp and clocks, and two fan remote controllers, I suppose you're not interested in those, or the phone charging wire, hmmmm? :D

You also don't care about magazines and a book, presently it is the Politically Incorrect Guide to Climate Change (nuf sed, the book is technical and excellent), and a Kindle electronic book thing.

That brings us to the important items, a high powered flashlight and another light but it comes with a built in electric shock thing-a-ma-bob - ZAP ZAP!! Those latter items might generate interest (pun intended).

And this, of course:

A friend's son lives in your area. Did not think it was that bad in Hampton Roads.

Bi pap (C pap wouldn't do it for me!), cell phone, glasses, Benchmade folder, wallet & the S&W Bible 4th edition.

In a rapid access safe mounted in top drawer G17 w/mounted sure fire light, spare mag, handheld surefire & S&W 640 Pro in a Desantis pocket holster. (The S&W, like the Benchmade is on me if I'm wearing pants.)

All ammo is Federal and there is a contact opener tag for the safe glued to the back of the cell phone.
