22 Handguns

I checked my inventory list of .22 handguns. I've currently have 14 semi-autos, 17 revolvers, one double-barrel derringer and a single shot. The single shot is the most unique. It's a J. Stevens Offhand No. 35 from the early '30's.

I have a model 18-4 a 17-3, a 4" and 6" premodels in 22lr

I have 3 Rugers a Mark I and a bull barrelled Mark III and a Bearcat

a couple years ago I bought a I frame "kit gun" with almost no finish from a forum member, Fitted it with a 4" barrel and it has become my favorite 22 revolver. Got several blue grouse with it for hunting camp this year (legal to do here). It rides in a holster on the front of my Polaris Ranger seat next to a 4" 45 colt

I currently own 7 .22 caliber handguns. Two of them are revolvers and five of them are semi-autos. I probably shoot my revolvers maybe 1 out of every 20 outings.

That first one sure presents well! Love the front sight, grips (outstanding), & 5 screws (K22 pre 17?). All nice guns though!

Everyone needs at least one .22 revolver and one .22 automatic. Don't get me started about .22 rifles, I'm just as passionate about those too.

I used to collect pre-War High Standards and compete in a local Bullseye league with "modern" semi auto High Standards, but from the gitgo I've always had one or two 22 revolvers. Right now a 1948 vintage K22 goes to the range more often than my remaining semis.

I get excited about .22 handgun threads, there could be an arguement that if a person was to own one handgun...I think it is an ultimate outdoors gun for trail or as a companion to the rifle or shotgun afield to camping and fishing, backwoods motor-biking, mtn bicycling, you name it-it is a winner in many ways for most folks...I have and love

I think that's all of them other than an RG 3" .22 short that cost me 6 bucks lol...
And I have to edit that I forgot that I have a mint Colt Peacemaker convertible with 6" in blue…and I acquired a 7.5" n.o.s. Buntline bbl for it but haven't installed yet….this is identical to the 1st handgun I fired in 1976 when I was 10…killed many many gophers in Montana with it along with rabbits and birds…was my Dad's only handgun and the biggest regret from parting from any firearm was that for me…so when I found a mint copy a few years ago, the $750 didn't hurt as much as the earlier loss…

Well, in the past I owned a High Standard target pistol, sadly stolen from storage when I was between addresses. I gave away two High Standard 929s but, maybe, I'll have to look, the 4" might have come back to me. But I have quite a few .22s, anyway:

My lady has my other Walther P-22. That's why I think I have the 929 because I think she gave it back to me.

Walther PPK/S .22:

I have a matched set, NIB, of a SIG Sauer Mosquito (no picture) and a GSG Firefly (also no picture). Same gun, as you all know.

That mini-revolver is NIB, too. I ain't firing that thing.
