How many of you have 38 special revolvers

M37 no dash, 3” and M638 J frames.

M10 K frame, 4” SB.

J, K and l frames in 357 magnum, 2 1/2”, 3.125” and 4” which will, of course , accommodate 38spl.

ETA: That’s S&Ws. If you’re counting all 38spls then I’d have to add a Colt’s Diamondback 4” and 2” Agent for a total of five stamped “38 Spl.”

Colt’s pictured below.

I have a few .38 Specials:

1 7/8” Model 36
2 1/8” Model 10
3” Model 36
4” Pre Model 10
4” Model 10
4” Model 15
6” Model 14.

The Model 14 and 15 are my favorites.

Just three here. Model 10, 15, and 36. 36 is the only one I carry at times. Love the .38.

I have two S&W and two Colt revolvers chambered for 38 Special.
A 2 inch pre-36 made in 1952 that I carry regularly, a 6 inch M&P made in 1915, a 2 inch Detective Special made in 1974, and a 5 inch Army Special made in 1917. I’ve owned the DS the longest, nearly 40 years.
I wish they would make some more 38 special ammo!

I don't have any .38 specials. Err, not the revolvers but i have a s... pot of the bullets. The wife has three. Now remember she can't shoot anything heavier than a .22 mag.

If you’re counting 357’s I have 14 plus 1 lever action carbine and a 38 S&W (not 38 special).

I shoot more 38’s than anything at the moment and haven’t shot any 357’s in years

I have one 38 S&W Special in the three main frame sizes, a Model 36-1, a few M&P’s, and a Model 1950 Heavy Duty built in 1950.

And a few others,

Kevin

AS to S&W 38 spl's, I've got more than I care to admit, including several that I've never even shot. I'm not anywhere near to being in Mr.Smithnut's league as far as a comprehensive collection, but I do have a pretty wide selection to choose from. The one that mostly makes it to the range with me is an old 5-screw K38 Target Masterpiece. However, the one that would be the last 38 spl to ever get sold (by me) would be a j-frame M60-4. Only holds 5 rounds; pedestrian Uncle Mike's grips; 3" BBL, stainless; w/target sights. That gun shoots like a rifle, it's easily concealed, and can do everything I would need a 38 spl to do. -S2
