Had not shot my Savage Model 11 in a while so since the winds were blowing opted for a centerfire .22. It is a .223 with a heavy barrel and a 3X9 Nikon Prostaff Scope. Was shooting 52 grain Sierra Match Kings over 23.4 grains of H335. This is from the bench (all our range offers) at 100 yards. The targets are airgun targets.

I am cheap as you can tell by the target repairs. Also my target backers are pretty shot up too.

The first target is my first shot of the day, figured I ought to stop there. The second target is five shots. The third target prompted me to clean the barrel. The fourth is after cleaning, the shot hole at 7 o'clock was the first after cleaning and the larger group is the next four shots.

That's some right fancy shootin' thar pard. Likein' the Indian head nickel, too!

You need to call up some coyotes and send them to that great coyote gathering in the sky! Same with the wild hogs—insert those little 52 grain bullets in the ear hole and ol' porky will be in that big hog waller in the sky before his head hits the dirt.
