17-6 side plate?

I am looking for a sideplate for my 4 inch 22 lr 17-6. Will any blued K frame side plate fit? Thank you for any info.

Not likely. They are individually fit.
You might be able to fit on in the hole but it will probably be noticeable.

Aside from the hand fitting should any K frame side plate fit?

Conceivably, if the replacement is on the large side it can be brought down to size slowly & carefully and a reasonable fit might be achieved. If it is smaller - you will be SOL. Even if the replacement is on the large side, it's very difficult to get a "factory fit".

That said, if a donor side-plate is not too expensive, you might give it a whirl - depending on your luck and skill, you might get lucky. Please post before & after pic's if you decide to try.

I think I'll probably leave it alone. It's a gamble if it will be oversized enough and a gamble to see if I could fit it. Thank you guys for the advice.
