I have a model 10-14 that is about 2 years old and has the skinny wood grips. They look nice but arent much to hold on to. Does S&W make any replacement grips that are larger? What are my options on a model 10?

Any k frame grips will work there are countless makers of grips ( not sure if you have a round or square butt) for K frames, both current and discontinued. Find what works for you and go with it. In the old days, people frequently discarded the wood magna grips for rubber. Now people are looking for wood. The circle is complete.

The options are plentiful.

I think those may be a round butt on the 10-14.

You can check sites like Altamont, Hogue or Pachmayr and look at K Frame Round Butt grips and see options.

If you are looking for something different check the auction sites for the same or if wanting to spend some money for a work of art look at Culina Grips.

You can also check with either Tyler Grip Co or
BK Grip Adapters and get a piece that fills in the grip area and makes them fuller with no real addition. BKs are resin and you get pretty quick. Tyler are metal and it may take a long time to get them due to production time.

Lots of options for you.

Good luck.

Just ordered a set of walnut Altamont grips. Will report back how I like them. Thanks

I have Hogues on my 64 stainless, model 10 basically, and they are very good for hand placement and grip control.
