Self-defense at the Seven Eleven

Around the 15 second time marker, the would be thief makes a furtive movement for a weapon. There's a brief view of what appears to be a knife with a wide, black blade before he tucks it back in his clothing.

Seems shady that the photographer is telling the workers to "let him go".
Maybe collusion?
No...he is probably keeping them from killing him...

Plus, if you let him go, that's hopefully the end of it. If the Police get involved, the wrong people are going to get hooked up.

...broom handle! Or it was an awfully stout broom. When we played half rubber we eschewed the broom handles for hickory hoe handles that were really sturdy (back in the day).

An industrial quality broom or mop handle is about 4 feet long, an inch in diameter, and made of good, quality hard wood.
In the right hands, it would be a formidable weapon.
As this video clearly shows.

I beleive those guys were Sikhs, they have a different outlook of self defense!

Yessir. Culturally, "lying down" and doing nothing is an affront to their honor as a man. Too bad we don't have more real men with that kind of attitude in our own culture. Too many American men have been emasculated by the matriarchy's defintion and declaration of the "toxic" nature of masculinity. Many men these days are men only in the biological sense - and the MSM is doing everything they can to redefine even that too.
