Ia 1k for a 1076 a decent price?

I have a line on a 1076 with 3 magazines and no box for 1000, 1085 shipped. I think that is a decent deal, but hoping for other opinions. thank you!!

That actually is the real question isn't it..hehe. Yeah I want it. Will probably buy, but forcing myself to wait the weekend to think about it. Already have 3 other 10mm's.

I would have said a decent price a year ago, but with 3 mags I would have to upgrade that to a good to very good price these days

These days $1000 is decent for a 1076 in good condition with 2 mags and no box - extra mags were $100 a year ago, but recently they have been going in excess of $200 each.

Next thing to figure out is whether it might be an FBI gun - unlikely, but possible and that would maybe double the value.

Yep, 1xxx magazines are scarce and popular, so they go for $100+ each. Is a Model 1076 worth $1000? Yes, especially when it comes with three magazines. Prices of everything are high today.

A buddy of mine stumbled on to a estate sale where both a 2nd Gen 645 and a 1076 were being sold for under $500 each. He was wagging the 645 under my nose and failed to see the 1076 (s/n TFP24**), so I snatched it before he knew what had happened. He is always cash poor so I know in six months to a year he'll be selling me the 645 and then I'll have both. hahaha

Only way this would have been a happier story is if I had gotten the 1076 plus additional mags......but if wishes were horses, 1006 series mags would be plentiful.

I think it's a good price. Haven't seen a 1076 under $1k in a long time. They usually run $1200 with 1-2 mags and no box. The more common 1006 runs about $100 less. YMMV
