Well, if it's made in Syria for sale in wealthy Arab states, why would I care? By the way, I also don't care about fentanyl.
It used to be legal in the US, but was moved to Schedule I (like heroin) over 40 years ago.

Yeah, nothing new. I worked with a Nam vet who was in the Tet Offensive and he said many of the attackers were High as heck and the kids attacking (some of them) didn’t even have guns, just sticks and clubs. He said they just poured a bunch of drugged up guys to where he and his fellow soldiers were just amazed about how the North sent these kids in so they could use up ammo on them. I don’t know but it would not surprise me if it was true. Maybe some of you were there would know more.

The fact that it's not new doesn't make it any less disturbing. Hamas fighters, and others, jacked up on this stuff can do horrific things without remorse.
And yes, of course, amphetamines have been available to US fighting forces for a long time. Ask me how I know if you like. The difference is we don't supply it to our people to whip them into a crazed murderous state like some do.
