My Dr told me I have about 3 years left to live. Don't brother me a bit because I have had a good life and we all go sooner or later. I placed an order on Amazon on November 1. Looked to see what it would cost to place same order today. In one week the cost of that order has gone up 7.6%. No problem my SS will be up around 3.5% next year. At that rate I will run out of money at about the same time I will run out of life

Around six years ago my PCP, cardiologist and electrophysiologist strongly advised that I not make plans after 2020. I have since bested their expiration date by three years and repurposed my life.

I have had more things wrong with me over the years than are on most death certificates. Even with all that I feel like I'm in pretty good shape. When I go to my scheduled Drs. appointments he tells me you have this, this, this, and this, but when I grow up I want to be in your shape.

I have cancer and if I do nothing about it I live 3,4 or so more years. I can have it treated and be cancer free and live 4 or 5 more years on dialysis. Rather live the shorter time dialysis free.

Vet said "We need to put your Mom's dog on this heart medication. It's expensive at over $100 per month, but the dog won't live another 3 months."

"Sure, it's the least we can do." I replied.

I think the dog lived 4 more years.

Here is how that works out. Max out all your credit cards and have a great time and you will be certain to find out the Dr was wrong. But then would be much better to be alive and dead broke, than dead and have great credit.

I lost faith in Docs many years back. About 40 some years now. The one I went to diagnosed me for Kidney stones and gave my a prescription for that. Stuff knocked me out for over 24 hours. Went to another doc and found a Hernia. Never went back to the first guy.

My doctor told me I had cancer and said I had 2 to 6 months to live. That was 6 years ago.

The devil is afraid to let me in.
