I like coffee and chicory. I can get 13 ounce bags for around $3.50. I also get Reveille Brand coffee at the PX for a much lower price than the other stuff.

What brand of coffee and chicory are you buying for $3.50 a pound(13 oz).

My Omega Speedmaster jumped 35% too right after I bought it.

It was on sale for $3.49 for a 13 oz. back last time I went there. Tonight, about three hours ago it jumped to $3.99 for a 13 oz. bag. It is the Rouse's brand, not sure who produces it. Still good coffee for a cheaper price. I used to get CDMM for $4.00 but they are over $6.00 now.

The Columbian Peaks version is a little more "bold" without being bitter. Their original coffee is good, but we like a little more bold flavor. When the price went back to the normal of $14.54, I bought a "few" bags extra (8). This should last us 2 months.
