Super Bowl

Good game all in all...

Half time show....did not understand one spoken
word.
And last...who/what was the creature that sang
America The Beautiful.

I didn’t know either. We are not alone. I was at the NC Symphony on Sat. They did a show about Motown and the Philadelphia Sound. Mostly Temps, Spinners, Smokey, etc
They even threw in Beethoven 5th for a peek at an upcoming event.

Amongst all the gray hairs in the hall was a teenage boy sitting right next to us with his mother. I never saw the youngster clap once in an hour and a half.

The show was great, we really enjoyed it.

My money is on Swift dumping him; then writing about him, the Chief's and her Superbowl ride.
She will make $$millions or 5.
Kelce will be left in the dust. I just hope the breakup doesn't impact his football career, the Chiefs will keep him so long as he produces and doesn't cost too much.

If she's smart she'll dump him, and soon. When the "new wears off" she might very well find out he's a pretty violent guy - it shows by his temper on the sidelines. She's received the attention she wanted, and put her name on the forefront, and he's of not much use for her future.

Ya, well if a guy knew much about women, they would know that there is absolutely no telling how long or why she will stay with him and when she leaves why she did it. Notice the word know as opposed to the word understand. NOT the same in this case

Rule number 3 never try to 2nd guess women

As Kelce's lawyer, I would advise him to hit it while the hittin's good and then find an ugly woman who knows how to make a sammich.

Re Post Malone, for me, all the facial tattoos are off putting. (Did not like them on Mike Tyson either.) But, hey, he's living his life, and seems to be a good fellow, so live and let live is my view.

And I do think younger generations — mine, too, way back when — strive to assert their independence from their elders by adopting styles that shock their elders.

Just the way we humans are, generation to generation. Kinda silly, but it is a consistent pattern.

The America the Beautiful singer was Post Malone. He is very popular with a large market much younger than us. He is worth $50 mil and by all accounts is a good person and a good father.

I don't begrudge him some ink.

I’m a big fan of Post Malone and really enjoyed his rendition of America the Beautiful. If you can get by the “look” you’ll find that he’s an incredibly talented, down to earth dude.

Good thing Taylor was there or they may have lost?

I really don't like Jim Nantz in any announcer's booth in any sport, but Tony Romo absolutely makes him sound infinitely more intelligent and interesting.

Just the opposite for me. I like Natz low key classic style and just wish Romo would just shut up for 30 seconds and let the game speak for itself. Especially during that final touch down.

I don't know if you are old enough to remember the great Ray Scott, who called many NFL games in the '50s and '60s, but Nantz is a veritable chatterbox compared to Scott.
