My nephew was telling me that Glock sold a pistol that came with three barrels from the factory (9mm, .40 S&W, and .357 Sig). Anyone know which model this was?

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm betting Glock never sold them that way. Perhaps some company did or he thinking about the various conversion kits you can buy.

I am reminded about a modular approach that some people are using. It involves mixing Glock frames and slides in the same caliber. The LGS tried to sell me on the idea, but I was not interested enough to listen closely and relate to you the details.
A short frame short slide.
A short frame and long slide.
A long frame short slide.
A long frame and long slide.
He said I got all this with only two guns. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
I cannot imagine any barrel swapping scheme that changes caliber involving Glock. Now, what you are describing is possible with the Sig Sauer P226! It takes two different slides, one for 9mm and another for both 40S&W and 357 Sig, the three different barrels, and two different magazines.
Buy the P226 in 9mm.
Buy the 40 cal conversion kit including the 40cal barrel, slide, and mags.
Buy the 357 Sig barrel and you got everything to shoot all three calibers.
I have never done this but greatly tempted I was.

Kind Regards!

Its not a Glock model I have ever heard of.

The .357/.40 Glocks share components except the barrel.
But the 9MMs have different internal components, including the the extractor, ejector, and extractor bearing, as well as needing different magazines.

Suppose you buy yersef a Glock 27... a baby Glock in .40 S&W.

You can get an Xgrip and a G22 mag, and have a G22 (Compact) sized grip, basically, with the shorter slide.

You can get a G22 barrel and install it, and have a little longer .40 barrel for ballistics.

I believe the G22 slide will work on the G27 frame but the spring will be exposed.

Install a G32 (or G33) barrel and you can shoot 357 SIG, in whichever length you want. (G27 or G22 mag still works fine.)

There are aftermarket 9mm barrels for the G22... YMMV, but many people have no issues. Not something I would carry, but for range fun sure.

This is one example. But for another, A G17 barrel or slide won't work on a G19 frame... even tho the G19 slide or barrel works fine with a G26. So you have to research.

I have no expertise in Glock iterations, but I did pose your question to a friend who FWIW is a Glock aficionado. He advised, as others have noted, that Glock never offered a multi-caliber package of barrels, slides, etc.

I know the Glock 23 (40 cal) will take a 9mm barrel and no other parts required to make a 9mm. I did that. So 1 frame, 2 calibers.
I am pretty sure the 357 sig (barrel only) was also an option but don't hold me to it.

Also the appropriate mags were the only parts needed.

Well, technically you can buy a Glock 22 then get barrels to convert it to 9mm or .357 SIG, but I doubt that Glock themselves have ever sold a bundle like that.

That's exactly what I did and it worked great! I've had no ejection problems with my 9mm barrel. I understand that can be a problem sometimes. I shoot it regularly with all three barrels and have had no problems. I did get a weaker recoil spring to use with the 9mm barrel.

I have had success on myglock 27, 22 and 35 with lone wolf bbls in 9mm and 357 in all 3. I got 9mm mags for that caliber but have heard many people use .40/.357 mags with no trouble...I am more confidant with proper mags. I never heard of and glock caliber bundle packages but the bbls I described were all around $120 each and show great accuracy. The 35 is my favorite in .357 sig.

I had a Glock 27 when I bought my 9mm silencer. I bought a 9mm threaded conversion barrel for it. Wanted something bigger, and put it up for trade for a Glock 23. I would have went for a Glock 19, but I still have boat loads of 40 ammo. It's worked out perfect. I could also put a 357 Sig barrel in it.

I call it my Glock 1923.

It’s quite possible that he saw this offered in one of the pawn shops he frequents and was just told that it was a factory package.
