I want to give a huge shout out to our very own 44magget. I recently sent him a set of abused coke bottle stocks for repair and what I got back was amazing.

Some pics of what I sent him….

….and what I got back. Cracks in both panels repaired, checkering recut, losses around the butt repaired, and the football area completely rebuilt.

Curt is a gentleman and a master craftsman!

His work is just incredible. I had him
Convert a set of neglected cut frame John Hurst stocks to a round but for a model 19-3 snub I had laying around and I was astounded with what I got back. I posted a thread about his work but here are some quick pictures from it.

I sent Curt an original pair of Walter Roper grips with a chip missing. When he returned them to me, I had to refer to a before photo to remind myself where the chip had been. It didn’t make any difference as even knowing, I couldn’t spot the repair. Not only does he do amazing work, he’s an incredibly nice man and I’m glad I can consider him my friend.

Mine sure could use some repair! But i'll leave it the way it is. :) Does anyone know what the "XP" means? The initials of the person who assembled the firearm?

Very Talented Craftsmanship, we are honored to have a forum member as skilled as this gentleman is.

Put a capital 'C' on Curt's craftsmanship. Here are the stocks he restored for my 19-3.

Curt did not restore these. He made them, from a simple chunk of firewood. These images are from they were first returned to me. The curl has darkened with age.
