j frame pinky finger grip but slim

These were my favorites when I owned my model 60. My hands are fairly large and these were just perfect.

You didn't specify whether the Hogue's that you thought were too bulky were their rubber ones or wooden. I believe that the wooden ones are slimmer. I have them on my 940...

But the J-frame I carry the most is my 638 with Ergo Delta grips. Strange looking but surprisingly narrow and give you a perch for you pinky...

Either gun carried in an Andrews McDaniel II IWB holster.

For what i research online this is my preference
1) RB Target
2) SILE
3) Altamont Combat
4) Ergo Delta - very fancy but maybe if i feel in my hand i would like it
5) Pachmayr grip Guardian is too fancy and with some mechanism, i like it simple
6) Uncle Mike is last just because is not anymore on website

Another option if you are just a little handy is a set of factory square-butt J-frame grips with a little bit of wood added on one half to fill in the gap where they hang below the round-butt grip frame.
I made a set like that for my 32 HE.

The Uncle Mikes are approximately 1" at their thickest point. It is a genuine shame that these are not currently in production. With how highly they are thought of, it is surprising that no one has worked a deal with Mr. Spegel to start producing them again.

Well, FWIW, if you are looking for the ULTIMATE in slim, but hand-filling, 3-finger-grip J-frame wood stocks, you will never find anything better than this set of Hurst stocks that I picked up a couple of years ago.
However, if you can find a set, be prepared to pay a premium price for them.

I’ve spent damn near a thousand dollars on j frame grips and ended up trying uncle mikes combat grips. Aiwb and pocket carry is a lot easier. They are very slim and provide a perfect balance of grip, recoil management, conceal-ability, and control. To me, they only lack in the aesthetics compared to Hudson customs, alts, and other fancier wood stocks. I liked them so much I replaced all my revolvers, minus the korth, with them. They don’t fit the Skyhawk.

They aren't cheap but I really like the Crimson Trace LG-305's that I have on several of my J frames. They are a little longer than a boot grip but slender at the butt. The sides are slick and the rear section has a recoil absorbing soft bubble in the web of my hand. Honestly, I often carry them with the laser off. I just like the way they feel and handle recoil.

Hi everyone

The standard j frame grip is slim (i like it) but doesn't allow my pinky finger to make contact (don't like it) is too short.

The Hogue grip allow my pinky to grip but is bulky.

Do you know if exsist a grip long like the hogue one but thinner like the original one?
