Your NOT Daily Driver...

Here's my former non-daily driver, my 1983 Porsche 944, purchased new for only $20k. I kept it 23 years and sold it after my knees gave out and entry and exit became so difficult, I stopped driving it. The photos were taken just before I sold it, so it held up well.

Here's mine: 1993 6 Speed, big brake black on black on black, two top 3.73 geared fun machine. It's been lowered and has 1995 ZR1 front wheels all the way around. It handles like it's a slot car and will stop on a dime and give you change! This is the exact car I had been looking for years, and it's set up just as I would've set it up had I had it since new.

Unfortunately, the New Mexico sun did a number on the paint - yeah that famous GM paint of the late 80s and early 90s.

That's where the cat dragged those slippers!

This what it looked like when I got it - internet pict

I had multiple vehicles for a few years, but the insurance, registration and maintenance costs didn't make sense for me. I also don't have room to store them. ;)

My oldie qualifies for Classic Car Insurance. $146 per year with no deductible and FULL coverage with an agreed value $1000 more than I paid for it 44 years ago.

I don't park in the driveway. When I built my house I factored in boat and car storage and have room to house 8 vehicles. The extra cost at the time was next to nothing.

When I back the boat into the garage I can leave her hitched so I'm ready to take her out the next day.

Though no photos, mine is a 2013 Miata Club that today just had the odometer change to 27000. I picked it up in 2016 with 800 miles on it. Rag top, 6 speed manual and Mazda A/C. The original owner was a snowbird and had it ordered in FL. Then he hurt his left leg and had the car flat-bedded to SE PA. By then it had all of 400 and he added the extra 400. My joke is that when I leave the top down and parked, that only 55 and older can even drive the car so why worry about locking it. The 6 speed is never covered so if you are one of he local car joyriders, good luck!! Dave_n

Well..... 2013 Ford Boss 302... one of 435 in this color.. Grabber Blue... great on the street and not to shabby on track either... but deep in the garage is my dream car.. 1967 Mustang Fastback... 347 stroker 5 speed 4 wheel disk... pure toy...

I’ve got quite a few non daily drivers. Going from oldest to newest they are:

1931 Ford Model A Tudor
1963 Ford Galaxie 4 door hardtop
1967 AMC Rambler American 220
1983 Ford LTD
1984 Ford F150
1986 Olds Cutlass Supreme
2003 Mercury Grand Marquis LSE

Yes, that’s a bunch of cars and at the moment I can’t drive any of them. I broke my foot two weeks ago and can’t drive for another 4-6 weeks. Over the next year I may thin the herd a little as I spend more time maintaining them than driving them. Of course I’ll probably just go buy another as soon as I sell one. I’d still like a ‘34 Ford Fordor, a ‘56 Ford Victoria and a Mercury Marauder.

Weekend/Weekday fun ride for many, many most comfortable miles. 1978 R100RS.

Nice to see a well cared-for older bike. Here's a couple of my older ones -- my 1979 Honda CBX, and my 1982 Honda CB900F.

Lots of folks here owned or at least drove Ramblers at one time :)

My weekend toy is my 2018 BMW M2. I bought it brand new almost exactly six years ago, and drive it about 3000 miles per year.

This weekend, my lady and I are taking a drive through the Shenandoah National Park in it...can't wait! :)

Hands down, the most elegantly beautiful motorcycle BMW has ever produced... :)

Not to throw shade on stu1ritter's airhead, but I think SS336's R90S gets that nod. I always thought the early RS/RT fairings were a little overdone, but the R90S is truly a classic.

I've had a lot of bikes over the years, but these days the two wheel escape pod is a Honda Interceptor. The V4 sound track is pretty hard to beat...
