NE Ohio Fall Bunch Fall 2024 - pictures Added

Denny, I will bring a set of grips you can sand this winter. Gotta promise you'll have them done by the spring bunch. They have an excellent grain to them and reasonably priced. Post a pic of a set you modified, Larry

Larry, K or N ? As I sand grips, they go on & off many times to check the progress. I don't have an N frame revolver.
I won't sand grips that have medallions.

The grip is totally not coated with anything, natural wood. The 'sheen' in the 3rd pic is from normal handling.

Well it looks like I'll have 16 display handguns, all S&W, 4 pistols & 12 revolvers.
For sale stuff will be some 44Mag factory ammo, 380acp factory ammo, 10mm factory ammo, rifle & handgun brass what's left after shipments to a brass supplier in Oklahoma, 38sp brass ready to reload after de-priming, sizing, and wet SS pin tumbling. Foreign 38sp brass @ $.03 each and Federal & Mil 38sp brass @ $.05 each. Unbeatable pricing on the 38 brass.

Gonna sell 8 sets of Altamont roper style grip in olive wood that I collected for years. Beautiful grips in Both N & K. Will have a Dan Wesson with 3 barrels in 357 to sell. Started packing already. Listed 6 S&W revolvers earlier to sell.

Denny I am interested in some 38 spec brass to stock up. May bring some 357 brass to unload. Don't shoot 357, it hurts. Larry

I'm not gonna make it this fall, but I'm
gonna. This thread came to mind to me tonight. I'm sitting at a TGI Friday's bar in Niagra Falls, Ontario, Canada. I'm watching
Mizzou v. Murray State using Nord VPN, because Canada don't offer any of the ESPN family of networks, and my DirecTV Stream don't work on location in Canada.

I am getting ads during the breaks from a North Olmsted car dealership . . .

Edit: North Olmsted Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, and the Sachione family of dealerships . . .

My travels

My travels will start next Thursday with a stop at Eric's.

We will depart WV Friday at some point as we have dinner reservations @ 6:00pm not far from the hotel.

Will most likely get to the Bunch early so we can grab our usual table. Once table secured then will proceed to get the food started in the crockpot.

Not sure what I might bring to sell yet but most likely some grips/stocks and some oddball stuff.

Looking forward to seeing some new faces along with the old faces.

Should be a record turnout based on the posts I've seen.

Everyone travel safely and we'll see you all next Saturday 👍👍

Pete

It won't be long now! For display, I'm bringing five N frames in presentation cases to not only show the pistols, but also thanks to jcelect sharing his wisdom, to show examples of Type A, B, C, D cases as well as a first year model 57 case. All will have period correct pistols in them. I haven't been fortunate to add a pre 29 and a leatherette or pre-A case yet but someday I hope to! Look forward to seeing everyone soon.

Canned some jalapeños tonight and will bring the small jar with me. Seems I eat everything with the canned jalapeños or the powdered jalapeño sprinkled on. Love the heat. Ed's banana peppers are fantastic also.

Denny is buying display items regularly, nice job. Love the way things are lining up for Saturday. Long live the Bunch.

We are the last official Bunch in the USA. Guess the SW Bunch ended yrs ago. Larry

Packed the car up with the 4 heavy containers of brass. Doing other prepping in the house. Got the 'for sale' ammo prepped.
Medina show this weekend so 'dant' will be doing the show instead of being able to participate in the 'bunch'.
Along with the normal 'sign in' sheet at the entrance table I'm gonna have a secondary sheet/tablet for e-mails. Gonna try to update the e-mail roster as not all e-mails on Matt's sheets and Gary's bulk e-mail sendout are current ( some e-mail addresses have changed).

If anyone wants to PM me their e-mail address, feel free to. I have current for Jebus35745, Golddollar, Masterbuck54, MaxKimber, dant, & shootgood.

WV2A, Strawhat, & BRatliff responded to request for e-mail address, thank you.

Possible rain in the morning and high of 66ish. Low in the low 50's. Should be a great day even when the weather cooperates.

If anyone has an adjustable stool fairly light weight and goes from roughly 17" to 24" for under 30.00, bring it. There are drummer stools on eBay for 30 shipped with tax. Wood or metal, maybe send a picture to [email protected]. Need for shooting outside, Larry

Name Tags...Please fill them out and wear them...

Talked to Marty and he is bringing some blank name tags and a marker for the attendees to fill out and wear so we know their names when they come around...He will have them by the "donation dish" when you come in...great idea as I do not think there were any at the last 2 "Bunches"...

Good idea on name tags, Pete from S Carolina is also bringing some.

Interesting, the person from Alabama I mentioned 3 weeks ago is here at his mother's house and is "very excited" to attend the Bunch Saturday. We talked tonight and there's a second person from Alabama who will be there Saturday. Larry

Start cooking...

Well Larry that's great about the Alabama guys attending...also neat to have Pete from SC, Eric from WV, Bob, Rich, and Les from PA and Rex from MI attending...will be great to see them all again...pretty "cool" to have that many out of state attendees...looks like we are going to have a great attendance...I'll start the cooking later this morning...venison sloppy joes AND "sticky" baked beans...my Grandson Townes texted me this morning that he is really excited about coming to the "Bunch" tomorrow...see you all tomorrow...Roger
