A nice 1911

I acquired this about 20 years ago. As the pictures show, it's in very good condition....Barrel nice and correctly marked, finish nice, grips correct too......lanyard not pictured. The box of ammunition is from that time period and unopened. I turned 80 and will let someone else be it's care taker in the near future.

Great looking classic! About 100 years ago when I was 15 I spent a chunk of the summer with a friends grandfather, a grizzled old Southern retired Sheriff. I was trying hard to use the tiny 1911 sights and he told me to just look at the back of the slide and use that as your sights. Watch the man and cover the meat with the slide. It was fast and consistent on a man sized target.
