Winter Project, Gun Wall

Snubby, upper-right revolver; watcha got there? That caught my eye right away. And there's a little hidden pistol in the middle that looks nice!
Hope all's going well.
Jeff
The upper-right revolver's my wife's 4" 66-3 and the little hidden pistol's a Raven p-25. I bought it and a six pack of beer when I turned 18 because I could.

Sure did. Man that was a terrible movie!

You mean the plastic AR he was holding.......??? :) :) :) :) :) :)

These are the guns of my youth.........I got them when I was 7 years old. The holster is a double rig. They are the same size as the real thing. They were a present from my parents after I had open heart in 1958.

Snubbie, that rack looks like a practical way to organize your guns for easy access, and your ammo shelf is a very attractive piece.

I was wondering about temptation and security. Is there a window in the room that makes it visible to a passerby or a neighbor from a vantage point at his home? How about guests or contractors?

A box frame with 1 x 6 sides and a plywood door with a hasp lock saying "paint locker" or some other innocuous label would deter a child or overly curious outsiders. You could even dress it up with a nice finish like your ammo shelf. I know it wouldn't be a bank vault, but there is value in out of sight out of mind.

Our house is built on a small hill. The only way to see in is to hop up and pull yourself up on the window sill. That and the blinds are closed to keep the room dark and cool 'cause I also store my leather there.
Inside the house, the door's solid wood and the door frame's oak.
I'm planning on getting a dead bolt for it.
Not as secure as a safe but it would take some doing to get in.
