Actors/ Actresses you can't stand?

I can separate the actor as a person from the character they play. Otherwise I'd never watch anything.
However, there is one I'll never forgive and hate until my dying day.
Jane Fonda

Sir, I agree with you, but Jane is not worth the effort of hating. If I hate anyone it's with my entire body and soul.

Another one I can't stand is Tom Selleck. He does a very obvious poor job of acting, wearing what looks like a cheap toupee while pretending to be your friendly neighborhood friend advising you to get a reverse mortgage on your home. Read the fine print. I wonder how many gullible people have lost their homes to banks because of this paid hawker.

What was in the fine print that caused them to lose their homes ?

We have to remember what a definition of "actor" is:

An actor is a person who portrays another person other than his or her true self and gets paid for it.
In other words, what we see on stage or screen can be, and often is, totally obtuse from that person's real personality. What we see is pretty much a lie in regards to that individual's true character. They are phoneys, pure and simple. They make money by pretending to be something they aren't. That's why they call 'em "actors."

John Wayne said that the feller up on the screen was Duke Wayne...he's Duke Morrison as never changed his name legally. He felt they were separate beings though he was very aware of the image he had to his fans.

Some who I have enormous respect for are actors like Roy Rogers, Clayton Moore, Willam Boyd and some others. They knew exactly who their fan base was...kids...and lived their lives in a way as to not disappoint them. Clayton Moore was a circus performer before getting into acting...he knew kids looked up to the Lone Ranger and changed his evil ways to be the person kids looked up to.

But there are some in the film and TV industry that baffle me as to how they get work. David Caruso is one I reckon could not act his way out of a wet paper bag. There was a blonde in CSI: Miami I thought was much the same. Cannot recall her name. Flat out disaster having those two in the same show.

Used to be a drinking game to take a shot every time he took sunglasses on or off!. He was terrible.:)
Emily Procter was the blonde. She actually was into guns.

Probably moving into a nursing home or other residence. One of the terms of the home equity mortgage is for the encumbered property to remain owner occupied. Other requirements that could be violated were requirements of property maintenance and payment of property taxes.

You spelled "Johnny Carson" wrong.

No disrespect to Johnny Carson, I really enjoyed his show but I'm a Leno fan too. I enjoyed Leno's car shows too. While I have never met him I like him and he has been a friend to LE.

My list of names would be too long. I'll leave it there.

^^^^This.
I have met many "celebrities" over the years. I treat them no different than I would anyone else...professionally. Nothing more or less. Most I have met over the years (this includes politicians) look at us in the same vein the lords did the serfs in times long past.

But having said that, there are so many that I cannot stand that to list them here would overload the forum's bandwidth. Suffice to say it encompasses most of Hollywood in this era.

Many are filled with hate and self loathing (looking over at The View). All are hypocrites to a great extent (i.e. hate firearms but use them in every role to horrifying effect).

I dislike them because to hate them would make me no better than them and I am a bigger person and far better man that most of these people would ever be.(Although the Jane Fonda urinal cake I find WAY beyond justified!).

I toured Universal Studios when I was in the Marines back in the 80's and one of the tour group brought up a famous and reknown actor. The tour guide laughed and called him by his first name. She said he's always around here and you might even run into him on the tour. You see him as a star, they saw him as just "one of the guys who works here" and this actor acted like that as well. (hint: Hart to Hart).

After Hanoi Jane, among the many celebrities I can't stand is Madonna. When she said she has often thought about blowing up the White House, that was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. First of all she's so stupid she'd blow herself up but no loyal American would do anything to physically hurt any President, I believe she belongs in SuperMax.
