About 96% of them..........Glad all my devices have OFF knobs.
Speaking only for the job an actor does on screen, and not their off screen politics and behavior, one that I surprisingly cannot stand is Paul Giamatti, the guy who ruined the otherwise wonderful, nay, great miniseries John Adams for me. He looked like Adams, acted appropriately, even brilliantly for the scenes he was in, but he's one of those "modern" actors whose idea of projecting an emotional moment is to drop into a godawful, hissing, high-speed stage whisper.
I don't think I've ever met anyone in real life who talked like that. It seems to me that affliction has become de rigueur in movies over the past 15-20 years, and it's especially annoying when accompanied by a crescendo in music volume to perfectly drown out what was already difficult to hear and understand even without the music. It's getting harder and harder to find a movie where the self-important Foley artists and sound mixers think they're the most important part of the movie.
Several that I prefer not to watch:
Jim Carrey , Adam Sandler , Steven Seagal, Tom Cruise, Nicholas Cage
Nicholas Cage is a terrible actor . I have no idea about his politics but his lack of acting skills is enough to put him on my No Fly list .
Robert De niro....
