Michael Jackson was a very troubled man. May he find peace at last. Yes, he was a pedophile, and there is no question in my mind that he belonged in jail. His children, whoever their biological fathers were, will now have a chance at a normal life.
I didn't care for his music. I didn't care for what he called dancing. You can compare him to Elvis, but you can't equate him to Elvis. In comparison, Michael Jackson was lesser than Elvis. Right now I'll bet that Paul McCartney is privately celebrating.

I thought all those charges were thrown out.. the last one (were there more than one charge?) was thrown out because of the testimony of the kid and mother kept changing every day.

Well, I've got my favorite network on right now..Fox News...and they are fawning over the deprived POS.
I feel no loss at all. He is symptomatic of what is wrong with our country. People get excited over a freak such as this and don't worry about what is important.
This guy was totally and completely without any socially redeeming value. A total waste.
Some say he was an "artist"? BS Those that think he is an artist wouldn't recognize one head on. He was a complete freak, creep and a wasted life.
The sooner he is buried and the world moves on, the better.

As for the reason he didnt go to jail, I heard reported that he paid off the main witness over 15 million! They had no case without him. Better people die every minute, unknown probley fine people. Why the big deal over a sick pedifile?

I just want to say I'm said for his family, unlike others I wish that no one had to go to Hell and hope he didn't. I don't know what went on with the child thing but hope nothing did and I'll say the parents probably just wanted money. I'll leave the judging to God and try to live my life and let others live their's. I did like his music, I can't say I liked him or disliked him because I didn't know him and again my prayers goes out to his family.

I mostly agree with gutpile, but I remember getting some of his Jackson 5 Hit singles free on the back of Alpha Bits cereal and admiring him for doing that at our age. He was 3 months older than me. I certainly did not envy his solo career or life, perhaps it is best for him to be gone. He was weird enough even if he did not do all that he was accused of, but either way he has now faced the Ultimate Judge and our speculative verdicts are meaningless.
There's some conflicting stories as to cause of death. First they said a heart attack and then I heard he suffocated when his nose fell off.

I didn't care for his music/dancing/etc, but if all you know about someone is what you have learned from the electronic media, you don't know much.
Anyone who has ever been unfairly accused and found himself involved with the legal system needs no explanation as to why he paid off. He had the money, I gather, and he knew that his chance for walking was less than 50-50. I don't know whether he was unfairly accused or not, but I would say the chances of that were at least 50-50. I'll just let God sort it out.

Folks, I expected a little more from this forum when it comes to someones death.
Like him or hate him, you shouldn't wish death on anyone. Put the shoe on your foot awhile.
I don't know if he was guilty of child molestation or not. There's always someone wanting money and will do or say anything to get it.
I take it that some don't read the bible. JMO.
