Michael Jackson is dead!

Michael Jackson was the KING OF POP. An American Music ICON. Nothing, and no one will ever take that away from him. He was such a huge influence on Music, culture, and many many peoples lives.

I am a child of the 1980's, and I grew up with his music, his dance, his quirkyness. He was an amazing entertainer.

He will be missed. May he Rest In Peace.

Whether you liked him, or did'nt, he is part of our Culture, and our collective memories.

I don't agree. The world is a better place when some are gone and people should rejoice when the wicked are no more. He will molest children no more.

How do you know he molest any children? where you there? People sued this man all the time for anything.

We will just agree to disagree.

The news is saying he is in a comma

I understand that he has actually slipped into a semi-colon. Sorry. Couldn't resist that. Not that I ever cared for Michael Jackson, but I have pitied him on occasion; been disgusted with him from other angles.

It was a sad day indeed, Fox News died and was re-incarnated as Entertainment Tonight.

Michael Jackson and I go way back to the beginning. It was pathetic to watch the decline, whether his freakness was from mental illness or simply extreme affectations.

Hopefully, he is better off wherever he is.

He was a human being, albeit a very strange one. He was passionate about what he did, and for years he did it well. I never particularly cared for it, but millions did. As for the pedophile accusations, he will be judged by far greater powers than any of us, which is how it should be, and always will be. I just hope he had his house in order. RIP

M Jackson

I thought all those charges were thrown out.. the last one (were there more than one charge?) was thrown out because of the testimony of the kid and mother kept changing every day.

>>>>that and the fact the out of court settlement which im sure was some serious jing.
not a big fan but he did change music when MTV was really MTV.

Sad that it is over shadowing Farrah's death SHE WAS FINE!!

Well put!
Now enough already with the news coverage, even FOX news has been running this for the past 24 hours continuously. He's dead-drive on.

Matthew 7:1,2. But it's not saying we shouldn't judge. It's saying we shouldn't jump to harsh judgment simply to find the worst in people.

We're actually commanded to judge.

John 7:24: Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
KJV

If we were not allowed to judge, we could never convict a criminal. Nor could we ever forbid our children from coming into contact with unsavory people.

We judge every day of our lives. It's the harsh judgment we avoid. For example, people who immediately wanted to believe the worst about jackson (when the news first broke about his perversion) simply because he was rich, they were guilty of harsh judgment.

That's not the case, now, IMO. The evidence is sufficient that he was not a person you would want to babysit your children.

well im sure glad we are all perfect people here. id venture to say that all on here have done something that we are not particually proud of. no one knows if hes guilty or not. people will say or do anything to get their hands on other peoples cash. everyone needs to stand in front of the mirror sometimes and get a true reality check.

FWIW, he was a master of the entertainment he provided, every bit comparable to Elvis, but I didn't like Elvis either. But for whatever they did in life, they are otherwise equal now.

I heard Farrah got to heaven and Gabriel asked her what she wished for so she said she wanted all of the children of the world to be safe... Then Michael Jackson dies of a heart attack... budoooom dooom--(rim shot)

MJ died yesterday in Los Angeles as sensationally as he lived, as famous as a human being can get.

+1

All of the news outlets were broadcasting nothing but MJ. Drives me up the wall! Iran, Iraq, Afganistan, energy policy, health policy, - all hot topics yesterday more important than non-stop coverage of MJ, but I heard not a peep about any of those issues (or any other issues except MJ) all night long. Sure, a pop icon passing is newsworthy - but NOT worthy of non-stop coverage while other important things are happening around the world and important debates happening in US policy....

Grrrr... MSM strikes out once again....

I too was going to write something very negative both thought he was a human being (weird as noted prior) The way his career turned and the operations backfired and money sitution. At least his last years here were to pleasant
