I've decided to move my accounts from Wells Fargo, and have a partial "Do not patronize" list of banks:

Wells Fargo
Citi Group
Bank of America
GE Capital

After an exhaustive search, I'm having trouble finding a bank that openly supports, which I can understand. I can't even find suggestions from patrons on where to bank.
Does anyone have a suggestion?
Thanks

Not a fan of national banks, check you local credit unions....

Membership rules have changed and most take anyone, even me!

This is going to be tougher than I thought. It seems the largest local credit union, SSFCU is the cu for the Florida public school system, and just teamed up with GM to do car loans.
Probably not gonna be a good fit for me...

Wells Fargo in the town I live pissed me off so much I refuse to do business with them even if they are giving out free money.

At my current bank they have a sticker on the door about weapons. Shows a big hunting knife and a glock on the picture. So carrying a small folder and a J frame is allowed right? :)

Im really curious if anyone knows of a bank that is friendly towards carrying guns.

Try M&T Bank if they're in your area. Regardless, I wouldn't ask too many questions at the bank...they might hear "gun" and freak out.

Move to a state where it doesn't matter. In Georgia, companies can put up all the "no gun" signs they want, but it doesn't carry legal weight. It is considered a rule violation... kind of like being too tall to ride the slide and doing it any way. :D

I wouldn't say Pro Gun, but I had business to do in one and happened to be talking with a loan officer about shooting and he told me there was no prohibition to firearms in the M&T Bank we were in at the time.

And I recall when banks gave away guns for long term certificates of deposit!

My checking/debit account is with BoA but only because they gobbled up my old regional bank. I can't even remember when I was in a branch as most of my banking is done online.

I have accounts with my company credit union , which recently merged with Viriva. No anti-gun signs because there are no guns/weapons allowed on company property (British owned defense contractor) to begin with. :(
