Seems sometime back we got caught up in the Kuerig fad and coffee pods. When it was brand new thought it wasn’t half bad but not as good as fresh brewed. Some of the originals just started tasting lousy? Those pods are expensive!
I’m one that likes my morning coffee, if you have one near by I like my Wawa coffee and a fresh donut!
For sometime I was experiencing stomach issues specifically in the morning. After sometime thinking about this and my morning routine I came to the conclusion it was the coffee! I remember a post here by someone in regards to how crappy looking inside the Kuerig maker was after he disassembled it and got to thinking,,,,again!
Needless to say the Kuerig is gone and we’re back to a regular coffee maker, a Cuisinart SS-15 model to be exact! Nice unit, works great.
I am now drinking good coffee again and no more stomach issues!
This model does have the pod attachment if you want to use it but for now I’m done with that. I guess in a pinch it might be used but I doubt it.
I buy my Wawa coffee at the store and it tastes just as good if I buy a cup there!
No more fad brewers for me!

Have never WAWA-Ed.
But I love the African Coffee.
And I see they use Kenya coffee, that’s some of the best.
Whiting Coffee, My local roaster sells a number of African coffees including Kenya.
And he don’t roast any lighter than Full City.
That’s a pretty dark roast, for you non coffee people.
Defined as between the cracks.
Coffee cracks twice during roasting.
When you get past the second pop,
That’s dark!
And the roaster has to know exactly what he’s doing!
He’s a half inch from charcoal!

Good quality freshly ground coffee, filtered water, and the right coffee maker can make a world of difference. We use a BonaVita coffee maker. Brews at the right temperature, 195-200 degrees....and into a carafe, where it stays hot for several hours.

I am cheap! I use a Mr. Coffee, paper filters and Maxwell House Dark Roast. When the warmer quits,I go buy another one.$19.95 or on sale for $14.95 @ Wal-Mart.I some times buy whole bean and I have a small grinder that works.I also drink hot tea and use the filter and tea bags to make it.Boring, yes, but it works for me.

I like Bunn coffee makers at home and at restaurants. Curtis is another good line of commercial machines (if you can get someone to follow directions!) Where my wife works they took out the real coffee maker and put in a pod type machine (and sell pods too) I bought my wife a refillable pod (2/$7.99) and she takes her same blend from home, for a few cents a serving.

Both of my sisters use the new fangled types and I did not really care for them (too much fussing around for just one cup of joe). However, I think there are two kinds of coffee, good and better so my old Mr Coffee is good to go fer me.

My wife gave me a Keurig. Must say, it works well. Have had it since 2012. Very much like Deathwish Coffee with it. Use little stainless steel cups that I fill each morning. Also have a plastic Ekcobrew cup that is excellent. Guess whatever floats your boat is whatever floats your boat! Sincerely. bruce.

I only drink one (or, at the most, two) cups a day. I make a regular pot and I end up drinking nuked coffee for a week. (I'm thrifty and just can't bring myself to pour it down the drain, so the cost of a pod a day may seem expensive, but the coffee is fresh every day.) That, combined with my wife only drinking a different brand than me, called for two pots being dumped daily. You just need to run the cleaner through the Kuerig occasionally.

I've had good old Boy boiled Cowboy Coffee with Egg Shells in it.
But not the entire Egg!
And its should be Arkbuckle's.
Cause that's the onliest kind he would drink!
Or so the ad said.
Actually he would drink whatever he could get his hands on.
