Given what I've seen, Zap NNP was already disconnected from free Ukraine. all outages are in occupied territory behind the southern front.
Time to send in Geiger counters.

Not sure what "Free Ukraine" might be or what they were cut off from.

I suspect that SAM Sites have auxiliary power, but I don't know.

Anything is possible in the Ruskie/Ukey war.

Nah ... I'll just let your ego walk you to the gallows till you figure out how not to be a jerk.
You can call them "Ukes" all you like. At the rate things are going we'll be calling them refugees, and quite possibly neighbors.
I'd much rather avoid culture clash and language barriers by making safe their homeland if possible.
I don't believe that is possible however.
They may very well be gutshot and dying in the street. Only one in this thread seems intent to kick them in the abdomen while picking fights with those who'd rather ease that process of suffering.
 
Now here's news of an appropriately named weapon for the forum.

Apparently, 800 units of an unmanned air vehicle called the "Revolver 860" are being put to use on Russians in Ukraine. It's a flying revolver cylinder that holds eight 60mm mortars.

It seems, per an NYT article I just read, that the plant was totally cut off from the grid, twice, briefly. The longest period was seven minutes. The cut offs seem to have been caused by artillery severing power lines that engineers then raced to repair.

If you think we have "huge problems" in this country now, watch what will happen if the Russians succeed in conquering Ukraine. Does anyone think Putin will stop there? A Russian victory in this war will almost certainly lead to a wider conflict involving NATO and inevitably, the United States...and when that happens, what will you and your ilk say then?

Call me corny, but defending the sovereignty of another nation doesn't strike me as flushing money down a toilet.

Kennedy?

Kennedy's been dead for SIXTY years.

His ideas are history. He's a man of the previous century.

Defending another nation when it's really none of our business and especially when it's a lost cause is a mistake in the 21st Century.

This current little "war" will most likely end in a peace settlement in a year or two that gives Russia all the seaports and almost total control of the Ukraine economy.

Russia will spend another ten or twenty years in pacification of Ukraine as it again slowly becomes part of Russia.

Putin will be long dead by then.

Anyway, it was never any of our damned business.

Given the problems Putin is having with Ukraine.........the idea that Russia would attack a Nato country is absurd.

In other words.........

The Russian troops are fighting for their lives, and dying, just like the Uke troops.

The Ukranians may be more motivated........but neither side has a choice.

There are no villains in this war except Putin.
 
I googled UKE and all that came up was the kid in blue and a Batman 4 stringer.
Ukes they be.
