BLOODY MARY'S - SUGGESTIONS

x2 on the Spicy V8

I usually add some worcestershire, horse radish and celery seeds.

Good vodka, although sometimes I switch it up with Tequila.

Gotta have a garlic dill spear and maybe a jalapeno

I believe the average vodka suits. Top shelf can be too smooth & hurtthe kick that a good BM should deliver.

So many mixes out there, but some might suit, some not. Ya have to try. Same with hot sauces. Franks has been a staple in my house for decades, but never made a BM to suit me with it. Tabasco, on the other hand is not a fave here, but was the fix for my homemades. Siracha is a fave in my house, but not at all for my BM's.

After yers of experimenting, this is my thing. With a good setup, 6 or 8 drinks can be put together quickly. The slow part...the 5 tosses from glass to glass that I do to properly mix. I get a lot of request, have had practice.

Clamato, a little Lea & Perrins Worcestershire, horseradish to your liking. Makes a pretty light BM compared to some mixes that a thick.

I like celery stalks as garnish since they pull double duty stirring.

I’ll add a bit of Old Bay hot sauce, my wife will add a sprinkling of celery seeds.

And just Clamato and vodka ain’t bad either.

Old Bay BM mix is good for one, maybe two BMs, but it’s too much of a good thing for more.
