THIS is why I watch FOX news

They were talking about the shooter in Maine last night and had their "expert" Ted Williams on to explain why they had not yet caught the shooter.
Ted's response:
"He know where he is, but the police don't know where he is."
Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it me, or is he kinda annoying???

One of the "FBI Trained Experts" being interviewed on News Nation said
"it was a typical AR 15 type rifle with a 30 round magazine, so he could have had 40 or 50 rounds in the gun".:rolleyes:

Here we go again . . . .

I'll allow the 'deer in the headlights syndrome' with people being drafted and drug in to these talking head interviews, but it sure makes their "experts" sound inept. And the political uproar is already building.

Well, when the "news" purveyors multiply, finding actual subject matter experts gets harder even if you're trying to avoid bias. Never having been on TV, have to wonder if the talking heads get paid or if they're doing it for their 15 minutes of fame/advertising value?

Fox isn't the "best" information outlet but experiencing the "groupthink" of the "mainstream" I consume my share. Besides, getting "real information" is so time consuming.
Example:
Report complaining India is largest buyer of Russian oil. Around 1.7 million barrels a day. Which engenders search:

How much does VLCC hold?
Largest crude carriers hold 2-3.3 million barrels. OK, almost 1 big boat worth.

But wait, there's more down the rabbit hole.

India is currently "forced" to pay for it in Chinese Yuan. They ain't liking that because 1st they need to convert Rupees to Hong Kong Dollar which is then converted to Yuan, costing 3% more in fees compared to the "Emirati Dirhams" (their preferred payment currency) which are cheaper. They've defaulted on 7 payments so far, P'Oing the Russians. Why don't they just pay in Rupees one might ask?
Russian central banks are packed full of Rupees already without any way to spend them without the same "currency conversion" issues.

You might think I don't have a point but the point is:
Did the "USofA" get mentioned in any of the foregoing "global discourse?" That would be a negatory. Most of this came from some "Shipping News Daily" or something close. Joe

Fox is, at least on their website, reporting something that you won't hear much of from other sources:

"Card also recently reported mental health issues, including hearing voices, and allegedly made threats to shoot up the National Guard base in Maine, according to the bulletin which cited law enforcement.

He was also reportedly committed to a mental health facility for two weeks over the summer."

Our local NBC affiliate covered all of that by 6 am this morning. Yes I know, more media integrity. But right now fox is only reporting the same misinformation as everyone else.
