Had 1006 1066 glock 20 and 29. Carried the 29 for a while. Loved the 29 for size. Eventually gave up on it because of recoil. Couldn't make follow up shots fast enough. It was more than a handful.
Congrates.
As others have stated, the 10mm is addictive.
My 1006 was just the first of a couple more.
$600 is a good price. You'll aways be able to get that out of
it should you ever (I doubt it) decide to move it along.

I've had a 457 since they were about10 minutes old. It came with the steel guide rod and steel three dot sights. Bought it kinda on a whim.
It's been in the safe for about 15+ years, I shot it very little. In reading some of the info on the CS45 I got curious about it and brought it out...
10mm durability
I have a 1066 that is outstanding. It's accurate and has given me no problems whatsoever. All the information I've ever seen is that S&W 10mm's are some of the strongest.

My son and I regularly shoot my 1006 at 4" steel plates at 85 yards from a rest. At that range we hit em all day long no problem. The
10mm is such a flat shooter you just line up the sights and squeeze.
No fuss, no drama.
Something seems askew here if you're talking 4-7" groups at 15yards...
"I got it at a price that was much less, but have to say I would have been willing to pay more for the one I got."
Oh now you tell me. Ha! Actually I think I got a fair price.
Glad the gun went to such a good home.

Have a 1006 and a 1066.
Agree the 1006 is a tack driver. Son and I were hitting 5" plates off a bag at 80 yards with handloads.
Soon you'll start looking for the rest of the 10XX line to go with your 1006.
I bought my first ever Glock, the G29 because of that 10mm thing.
It's a sickness I...
If you decide to pass on this, would you give me info as to where this
gun is located. I want it. It would go well with my 1006 and 1066.
Smokin hot deal with great price.

Caliber size would be the least of my worries.
Shoot what you want, just shoot it well.
Have a 1006 and a 1066.
Tried to carry the 1066 in a Milt Sparks
Coversix, couldn't get used to the weight.
Went with a G29 with a grip reduction by Bowie

I have a Milt Sparks Cover 6 for my 1006.
Fits well and is slim. My problem is the
gun is just to heavy. Everything else I carry
is at least half a pound lighter. I wanted
to carry it, just don't.
