I am looking for a Shield in 9mm and can't seem to find one anywhere. Is S&W so far behind in production that they aren't available right now? I called every local dealer in my area and none of them have any. One of them even laughed at me and said he has been requesting two of them since July...

They are $829 in a local gun shop around here, and yes, that is for the SPORT model.

My Walmart doesn't even sell 100 count boxes of .223 ammo. All I can find there is the small boxes of Tula. Then again, the Walmarts in southern IL aren't exactly gun friendly (they don't sell firearms).
